Best In Class Bowling Lessons – Tuesday 23 June
In our bid to find Manchester’s Top Dog-Bowler Dog Bowl we’re bringing in the experts to offer free one-on-one coaching sessions.
On Tuesday 23 June, we’ll be holding a drop-in lesson session between 6 and 8pm. British Tenpin Bowling Association (BTBA) accredited Coaching Tutor and expert bowler, Derek Simpson, will be on hand for two hours to give competition entrants the edge on the competition with some quality practice before they enter.
So far over 40 people have entered the competition and it’s looking tight at the top of the table with an average of 160 points across the board. Derek can teach you wannabe winners to get those extra few points with some simple tips.
Anyone can enter Manchester’s Top Dog Bowler between 1 and 30 June. To enter, bowlers simply need to tell reception that they would like to apply for the title before they start their game. At the end of the game, the final scores will be added to a leaderboard. At the end of the month whoever has the highest score on the board will be declared ‘Manchester’s Top Dog-Bowler.’
As well as winning the title and the glory, Manchester’s Top Dog-Bowler will also be awarded a Golden Dog Tag, entitling them to a year’s free bowling at Dog Bowl, in addition to other excellent food and drinks prizes to be enjoyed at the Black Dog Ballroom venues. With such a great prize up for grabs, anyone who loves bowling would be crazy not to try for this.
Confident contestants are encouraged to video their attempts and share with the venue’s social media channels (Facebook and Twitter) using the hashtag #McrsTopDogBowler to be entered into a weekly prize draw to win lunch for two people.
